Since my first introduction to the world of numbers - tallying time cards at Po Folks in 1984 - my proficiency for accounting has grown exponentially, and I've been wrangling decimals and dollar signs ever since. My span of thirty plus years in accounting includes experience with non-profits, construction, and manufacturing, driven by my goal to find the random missing penny and by my desire to make a positive impact on the companies I work for.

Controllership duties over the past fifteen years have also led to considerable expertise in an assortment of Human Resource areas - an often overlooked area in small and medium sized businesses, but an area with the potential to make a significant impact on your bottom line.

I am QuickBooks Pro certified; and am also a certified Application Specialist in Sage 50, having used the product since it was Peachtree DOS. Yes, DOS. I'm agile with these programs, to say the very least. Don't count me out if you are running with another program, though, as I get enthusiastic at the prospect of mastering new platforms and will do so swiftly - on my own dime and on my own time.
